Workshop Funding Applications
Introduction
PhenomUK workshops are intended to address in more detail issues raised by the membership at wider events. These will be smaller groupings considering specific phenotyping problems or opportunities in some depth. Workshops might focus on, e.g., the challenges associated with measuring chlorophyll fluorescence in the field, or the potential of machine learning methods for disease identification. Workshops will seek to identify key phenotyping needs and promising research directions.
Please note: each workshop will be required to produce a summary article for dissemination to the membership and, where possible, wider publication.Applications for workshop funding will be assessed on:
- potential to advance the capabilities and/or range of application of phenotyping technologies
- potential to create new partnerships between the engineering and physical science and plant and crop science communities
Funding is available to PhenomUK members only. All applicants must be members of the network. Membership is free and membership is obtained by registering here.
This is an open call, applications are welcome at any time. Notification of the outcome will be made within one month of receiving the application.
